Four new translations added

February 2023

Four new translations have been added to the BibleLink plugin. They are:

  • The Dutch NBG-vertaling 1951 (NBG1951)
  • The German Elberfelder Translation (Version of bibelkommentare.de) (ELBBK)
  • The Bengali Common Language Bible (BSI) (BENCLBSI)
  • The Bengali Indian Revised Version (IRV) – 2019 (IRVBen)

  • New Amharic Standard Bible (NASV)
  • La Parola è Vita (PEV), New Testament
  • Telugu Old Version Bible (BSI) (TELUBSI)
  • Indian Revised Version (IRV) Telugu – 2019 (IRVTel)
  • Indian Revised Version (IRV) Tamil – 2019 (IRVTam)
  • Ukrainian Свята Біблія: Сучасною мовою (UMT)

Eight new translations added

March 17, 2022

Eight new translations have been added to the BibleLink plugin. They are:

  • Afrikaans 1983/1992
  • The Spanish Nueva Biblia de Las Americas
  • Two Portuguese translations: the Almeida Revista e Corrigida 1969 and the Almeida Revista e Corrigida 2009
  • The Japanese Colloquial Version 1955, 1975, 1984, 2002
  • Three English translations: the New American Standard Bible 1995, the New American Standard Bible 2020 and the Amplified Bible.

More than 1 million requests

January 21, 2022

In January BibleLink reached the milestone of 1 million requests to display a Bible text. A great result which shows that the plugin fills a need and proves its value.
The number of requests is expected to increase at an accelerated pace because licenses have recently been obtained for, among others, a modern Spanish translation and two Portuguese ones. These will soon be available in the plugin.

New Uzbek Bible translations

December 1, 2021

Two new Uzbek translations have been implemented in BibleLink:

  • Uzbek Bible (Latin) (UZBL) and
  • Uzbek Bible (Cyrillic) (UZBC)

New BibleLink statistics

November 17, 2021

BibleLink now offers detailed statistics about the number of Bible texts that have been requested.

The report can contain:

  • Requests per Bible translation per month
  • Top 10 domains per Bible translation
  • Requests per Bible translation per domain/website per month

Reports can be requested by Intellectual Property owners of the Bible translations via a request in the contact form.
